Definition
The role responsible for when and how what was planned gets delivered: scheduling, dependency management, risks, budget, progress reporting, cross-team coordination. It does not decide what gets built (that belongs to the PM); it executes and coordinates so that things ship on time. In modern agile teams it may be absent or merged with the Scrum Master / Delivery Lead.
