Definition
The single metric that best captures the value the product delivers to its users and that, therefore, guides team, growth and product decisions. E.g.: *play time per user* (Spotify), *room nights booked* (Airbnb), *daily active conversations* (messaging). It does not measure revenue directly, but the value delivered that ultimately produces revenue.
