Definition
A minimum functional version of a product that allows it to be validated with real users in the market, with the least possible effort. A central concept of *Lean Startup* (Eric Ries). Unlike the Prototype (internal validation), the MVP delivers real value to the user and produces market data. Critical: minimum does not mean bad — it must be minimum and viable, the latter matters as much as the former.
