Definition
The process of inspecting, cleaning, transforming and modeling data in order to discover useful information, draw conclusions and support decision-making. It is organized into four levels of maturity according to the question it answers: descriptive (what happened), diagnostic (why it happened), predictive (what will happen) and prescriptive (what to do).
