Affinity covers the classic design trio (image, vector illustration and layout) with fast, well-built apps. The strong argument is the model: one-time payment, no subscription, which makes it a real alternative to rental suites.
Performance is excellent even with large files and format compatibility is good. It lacks a few very specific features of the market leader, but for most work it has more than enough.
